Over the past 6 months time Amhara investment agency has issued investment license to about 422 businessmen with an aggregate capital of 9.1 billion birr.

Developmental investment process owner with the agency, Aynalem Belete, says that the investors would create job opportunities for about 53, 342 compatriots.

The investors took license to engage on agriculture, construction and hotel & tourism sectors, says Aynalem.

Aynalem says that most of the investors have so far entered in to production phase, and out of them 54 are foreign investors.
