Close to 93 million Br was collected in revenue over the last 11 months in North Shoa Zone, Amhara Regional State , said the Revenue Office. The sum was collected from direct taxes, indirect taxes, and other revenue sources during the just ended fiscal year. Over 40 million Br was collected in revenue from various businesses in Gedeo Zone during the same time, said the Zonal Tax Administration Office. The revenue obtained during the reported period is enough to cover 21pc of the zone’s fiscal budget, said the office.
